What is proof of identity?

To verify your account with us, we will need a copy of your valid passport or both sides of your government-issued identification card.

This copy must contain:

• Full Name • Date of Birth • Photograph of you • Valid Expiry Date

All images should be high resolution and the above details must be clear.

What will be not accepted?

• Covered details – you must not cover any of the above details. • Photograph of yourself must be done in suitable lighting.

How can I verify my email address?

If you have skipped the email verification process after creating your Assetise account, it is important to verify your email address to enhance the security of your account. Follow these steps:

Navigate to your Account Settings (or go to Settings in your Assetise account’s right-hand menu and select Account).

In the Credentials section, locate your email address and click on the ‘Verify’ button next to it.

Check your email inbox for a message from no-reply@connect.assetise.com.

Click on the ‘Verify now’ button within the email.

You will be redirected to the Assetise platform and receive a confirmation message.

How do I know if my account is verified?

You can check the verification status of your Assetise account at any time.

There are 3 ways you can view your verification status on Assetise:

  1. Look at the box in the sidebar under your username.

    • If you see ‘Tick’ or your Assetise account, then it means it is verified.
    • If you see an invitation to verify your account, then your account is not verified.
  2. Click on your username.

    • If you see a tick next to your profile photo, your account is verified.
    • If not, your account is not verified.
  3. Go to ‘Settings’ in the top-right corner, then click on the box at the top where your username and profile photo are.
    • If you see ‘Verified’ next to your username, then your account is verified.
    • If you see a notification to verify your username, your account is not verified.

How can I verify my phone number?

Phone verification is necessary for the account verification process at Assetise. To verify your phone number on Assetise, enter here or choose one of these options:

From Home

  1. Click on ‘Verify’ on the main banner on the Home Screen
  2. Enter a valid mobile phone number and click ‘Send SMS’.
  3. Type the SMS code you received on your phone.
  4. Click “Verify’ and check the green banner at the bottom to confirm your phone is verified.

From Settings

  1. Go to Account Settings (or enter your Assetise account and click Settings, in the left-hand menu, then click Account).
  2. Under Credentials, click on the ‘Add’ button next to your phone number.
  3. Enter a valid mobile phone number and click ‘Continue’.
  4. Type the SMS code you received on your phone.
  5. Click “Verify’ and check the green banner at the bottom to confirm your phone is verified.

What do I need to start on Assetise?

To apply for an Assetise account, you’ll need:

• To be 18 years or older (we’ll ask for proof) • To live in one of the countries where we offer our services (we’ll ask for proof) • A computer and/or smartphone connected to the internet • A valid phone number connected to your smartphone • A valid email address
