How do I open an Assetise wallet?

To open a wallet, you’ll need to;

• To be 18 years or older (we’ll ask for proof)

• To live in one of the countries where we offer our services (we’ll ask for proof)

• A computer and/or smartphone connected to the internet

• A valid phone number connected to your smartphone, as an additional check.

• A valid email address

Is my money safe in Assetise?

Yes.

Assetise operates in accordance with financial regulations meaning that there are measures in place to protect investors.

On Assetise, our client funds are segregated and all of your personal information is guarded under SSL encryption.

We also insist you activate Two Factor Authentication (“2FA”) in your account which requires you to enter a verification code sent to your mobile phone via SMS in order to access your account. It is an additional layer of security.

It’s important to note that any form of trading involves risk. That’s why Assetise encourages its clients to practise responsible trading by staying informed and diversifying their portfolios.

What trading accounts can I open?

Once your Assetise wallet has been opened, either a cryptocurrency trading account would have been opened for you or, an online CFD trading account would have been established. Once inside MyAssetise you will have the opportunity to open accounts to trade on either of the Assetise exchanges.

Account types we offer are;

• Assetise Markets Classic (retail) Account: Assetise’s default account type. With this account, you can trade all the CFD assets we offer.

• Assetise Markets Professional Account: The Pro Account can only be opened on a successful application and requires clients to meet certain criteria in terms of knowledge and experience.

• Assetise Cryptocurrency Exchange Account: This account type will launch your digital wallet from where you’ll be able to trade the quoted cryptocurrencies and their respective crosses. This account type will facilitate your acquisition and holding of digital assets and can be opened for either an individual or business.

Can I change the currency of my Assetise account?

The Assetise platform will ask you what currency you wish the account to be set up in during the onboarding process. In order to change the currency, you will need to contact support.
